Belgium's standard work week is 38 hours. The hourly rate is calculated by dividing the monthly rate by approximately 164.67 hours (38 hours × 52 weeks ÷ 12 months).

Younger workers receive reduced minimum wages: Age 18 (80%), Age 19 (85%), Age 20 (90%). Full minimum wage applies from age 21.
