Key Information
National Statutory Floor
The Czech minimum wage is a national statutory floor for standard employment. Collective agreements and internal pay scales can set higher rates.
Standard Working Time
Full-time calculations use 40 hours per week. Part-time minimum pay should be prorated from the hourly rate.
Tax Treatment
Minimum-wage employees still pay social and health insurance. The standard taxpayer credit usually offsets personal income tax at this level.
Minimum wage sources and assumptions
Minimum wage pages use official labour and government publications, then convert hourly, monthly, and annual rates for comparison. This page was last reviewed for Czech Republic 2026 data on April 27, 2026.
